The Sousa Landholdings
Don Antonio bought 80 hectares of land in the town of Cotabato extending from what is now known as Pedro Colina Hill down to Bagua and up to Rosary Heights. At that time, this property was primarily farmland, the higher portion of which was planted to coconuts and the lower portion to rice.
Don Antonio later also purchased property in the town proper, in what used to be called Figueroa Street as well as in the port of Polloc, in Landasan, Parang.
The Cotabato property that Don Antonio acquired soon became prime property as the town expanded in size and population. The property in the town proper became the built up area or the main commercial section of the town. The 80 hectares became prime residential and institutional sites.
Later, about 16 hectares of the Pedro Colina Hill property was donated to the then municipal government of Cotabato while part of the Rosary Heights property was sold to the Oblate Fathers and to the Aboitiz enterprise.
Upon the death of Don Antonio, what remained of his landholding was divided among his four children thus:

- Carmen got the P.C. Hill, Bagua, Sousa and the lower of the P.C. Hill property.
- Soledad got the Rosary Heights property.
- Maria got the whole of the Figueroa Street property.
- Manuel the property at Polloc, Landasan, Parang.
- Don Antonio's remains lie buried at the Cotabato Catholic cemetery.
